After your wedding ceremony:
I have access to the online registration facility of Births, Deaths and Marriages (NSW) and will register your marriage with Births, Deaths and Marriages on the day of or the day after your wedding. See the Information page and also the following link, After the Wedding.
Couples will need to obtain a registered copy of their Marriage certificate, refer to the information page.
Residents of all other Countries;
If you live in a non British Commonwealth Country , as well as obtaining your registered Marriage certificate you will also need to obtain an Apostille stamp from the Dept of Foreign Affairs and Trade, so you can register the marriage in your country of residence.For further information Download this sheet.
